RockyCrater.org was launched in 2002 as the home of the Rocky Crater Weyrhold, a play-by-email writing club whose work was based on Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern ® . In the years since then RCWh has come and gone, leaving RockyCrater.org to become largely a personal website for its owner, his friends, and several groups he is involved in. And while RCWh is no more, its web pages are mostly intact and continue to dwell here out of sentimental reasons and the hope that someday it might rise again. At this writing (29-Dec-2016) the majority of RockyCrater.org is dedicated to my model railroad activities and my writing. While I am addicted to the internet, don’t expect this site to receive daily - or even monthly - updates. I once enjoyed coding for hours on end, but those days are in the past... at least for the time being.
